1. What is Safetydeck?
Safetydeck is rubberized safety surfacing, which is applied to indoor and outdoor playgrounds.

2. What does Safetydeck consist of?
Safetydeck is rubber granules mixed on site with a specially formulated resin, poured in place and troweled to accommodate the surface substrate. All applications meet federal and state safety standards.

3. Is Safetydeck tested?
Safetydeck is UV stable and tested against the growth of fungus and bacteria. It is ISO 9002 Certified and tested by NSF, National Sanitation Foundation.

4. How thick is the product?
The thickness of Safetydeck reflects the required fall height standards for the accompanied equipment, and structures. Safetydeck meets current CSA, and ASTM F1292 standards.

5. What colors are available?
Safetydeck is available in a wide range of colours. Logos and designs can also be incorporated into the surface to enhance the play value.

6. What are the benefits of having Safetydeck over other surfacing materials?
Safetydeck is a resilient, durable, non-slip safety surface. It is easy to maintain and clean. Safetydeck creates a clean, safe, visually appealing surface; which is virtually indestructible.

7. How is Safetydeck repaired?
Should Safetydeck require a repair, an ORI technician will cut out and remove the damaged area. New materials can then be poured and trowelled in place. Repairs in Safetydeck are seamless and aesthetically pleasing.

8. How does Safetydeck stand in extreme hot and cold temperatures?
Safetydeck is a flexible surface; which will stretch and contract to accommodate substrate movement in the freeze/thaw cycle.

9. What is the warranty on Safetydeck?
Safetydeck is warrantied against material defects for five years.

 

Rubaroc® is tested in accordance with ASTM F-1292 standards for impact attenuation of surface systems under and around playground equipment meeting all G/Max and HIC values. Rubaroc® meets all C.C.P.I. (Canadian Certified Playground Inspectors) and R.P.P. (Registered Playground Practitioners) standards for rubberized surfaces. Rubaroc® has been tested by CSA laboratories to meet all CAN/CSA" Z614 standards on children's play spaces and equipment.
